 開發商Warner Bros今天宣布早先已經登錄主機的遊戲《中土守護者》（Guardians of Middle-earth）即將登陸PC。該作由Monolith Studios開發，由Zombie Studios移植到PC，玩家可以在8月29日通過 Steam 和其他數字商店購買。      《中土守衛者》是5打5的“多人戰鬥競技場”(Multiplayer Online Battle Arena，簡稱MOBA)類型，這也是DOTA類型遊戲首次登陸家用機平台。遊戲中玩家可以從20幾位角色中挑選自己的人物，包括：甘道夫、索倫、咕嚕及索林等，等到電影上市時還有新的角色會同時推出。
