最近，發行商Frictional Games宣布，2010年推出的深層恐懼遊戲《失憶症：黑暗後裔》將於今年推出續作《失憶症：豬玀的機器》（Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs）, 將會有PC版。與之前報導的一樣，本作發生在與前作相同的世界中，但採用一組全新的角色。本作的背景設定在1889年，富有的工業家Oswald Mandus剛從一趟墨西哥的糟糕旅程中回來，不知什麽原因發起了高燒，還受到一個神秘機器的幻覺困擾。本作由製作冒險遊戲《親愛的埃斯特》的工作室thechineseroom擔綱製作，計劃於今年秋天發布。《失憶症：黑暗後裔》曾獲得8/10的媒體評分。
