看到現在很多人不明白"Sin"這項數值的作用，我直接從英文wiki翻譯過來一篇文章，首先說說輝石鎮那個贖罪牧師的作用，他的作用和sin沒有什麽直接關係，他的作用是：當你攻擊了某個npc使其進入敵對狀態但又還未殺死那個NPC時，去贖罪牧師那裡交等級x100的贖罪款，就可以把所有敵對NPC的狀態重置為友好，但如果你已經殺了某個NPC，交贖罪款也無濟於事，只能用墓碑去復活那個NPC

Sin

Sinning increases your chances of being invaded by arbiter spirits (Blue Sentinels)

罪惡值會增加你被藍魂入侵的幾率。

Arbiter spirits can invade you after your sin level reaches "sinner" (10 points of sin)

當你的罪惡值到達10(變成“罪人”)時候，藍魂就會開始入侵你。

There are three levels of sin; "-","sinner", and "wretch".

"-" is 0-9 points of sin

"sinner" is 10-99 points of sin

"wretch" is 100+ points of sin

Attacking NPCs adds 1 point of sin

The trigger for incrementing sin appears to occur when the player absorbs the souls of an "innocent" NPC. So even if the player lures monsters near an NPC and waits while they kill him/her, it still counts as a sin. (Tested on PC version 1.01 while watching the memory location for sin count)

當你吸了某個NPC的魂之後就會計算你的罪惡值，所以把怪引到NPC旁邊砍死NPC也算你的罪行(PC版1.01分析記憶體確定)

Invading using the Cracked Red Eye Orb and successfully defeating the host adds 1 point of sin

Killing a host as a black phantom for the Bell Keepers does not count as a sin.

Killing either is a sin. Even standing back and watching will count as a sin once one dies since the game seems to consider absorbing souls of an "innocent" NPC a sin. (Tested on PC version 1.01 while watching the memory location for sin count)

However, attacking either NPC while they fight is not considered an aggression as Cromwell will say you havent sinned after the fight. The sin increment from witnessing this fight may be an oversight in programming and may be fixed in future updates.
